Connection Settings

JDBC Connection String

The connection string provided by AWS via the Redshift configuration.
Check the Redshift configuration in AWS to ensure external connections are enabled.

Authentication Type

Setting	Description
Username & Password	Enter a username and password for authentication.
Assume EC2 IAM Role	If running on an EC2 instance with an IAM role attached, automatically assumes that role. No Access Key or Secret Key is required, however a Username is still required to identify the Redshift database user.
